This is a repackaged classic API microphone preamp featuring:
Classic API 500 series packaging
Original API 2520 opamp
Original API Output Transformer
Custom wound Vintage "2622" equivilent Input Transformer
Real reverse taper potentiometer for the Gain (the other repacks don't use these, API does)
48v phantom power, 12 db pad, Phase switch, and DI.
Custom Hi/Lo Impedance/Post Transformer Pad switch allows the user to drive the input transformer and changes the tonal color
Custom DI path switch to go either through the transformer (API 312 style) or directly into the op-amp (API 512 style).
